Birthday Bingo

The birthday girl shouted "Bingo" when she found out she could eat this diabetic chocolate cake with white chocolate cream cheese frosting without having her sugars soar through the roof!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this cake tasted after only using Spenda and Spenda blends to create this decadent chocolate and white chocolate combination.

Madagascar theme cake

Marty the Lion from the Madagascar movies was center stage at this 3-year-old's birthday party.

This chocolate cake was filled with chocolate mousse and covered in chocolate and vanilla butter-cream!

Dragon Cake

This friendly dragon was a hit with my son, Tony at his 2nd Birthday party!

The head was a chocolate cake filled with a light and rich butter-cream. The body was a lemon cake filled with lemon curd butter-cream. Both were then crumb coated with butter-cream and covered with blue marshmallow fondant.

Entire cake is edible with a combination of fondant and gum paste decorations.

This dragon stood almost a foot high and consisted of three tiers. This cake was very time consuming, but was great fun to do for my son transitioning from my baby to my rough and tumble toddler!!

Cessna 150 Birthday cake

I had the opportunity to create a one of a kind creation this weekend for my uncle, who is turning 75!

His Cessna 150 was the inspiration for this cake. This chocolate cake is filled and crumb coated with butter-cream and then covered with marshmallow fondant. Sky, clouds and plane are fondant, while the outlining, coloring, and highlighting are all butter-cream.

I hope he is flying high with excitement when he sees his own plane in a creative cake confection!
