Pink and Purple flower Cake

This was the goal.......



....and this was our result!!!

So...here is the cake that I made for my daughter's 10th birthday!

So not what I had planned....I must learn to leave myself more time to do the actual decorating!!!!

I guess it's not that awful, it's just not what we imagined!! Fondant is not my friend. The end.

This cute flower cake was sent to me by my friend Ashley! She made it for her daughter's first birthday!


Round cake frosted in pink and pink zingers. Mini chocolate chips in the center. She also said that her friend frosted it in yellow and used yellow zingers and regular chocolate chips and it looked like a sunflower!!! How darling. Thanks Ashley for the cute cake!!!
