Slimy and Cute

This is another cake I stole from Stacy. Cute caterpillar, dragonfly and bumblebee cakes. So darling. Oh, to be so creative! She said she let the kids help her frost the caterpillar!! So cute!!

"FORE" a golf lover

This cake was certainly above "par" for this golf lover's birthday! This strawberry cake was filled with strawberry mousse and was decorated in a light butter cream throughout.

This cake was made for a family that wanted a simple surprise for the man of the house on his birthday.

This cake was designed to serve 6-8 people.

Lady Bugs Are Slimy, Right???

So, here is my sorry attempt at a lady bug. It actually looks a little bit creepy. The smile reminds me of the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland. Poor little girl..... Oh well. It would have been cute without that. I just made 2 round cakes in a Pyrex bowl. Cut a crescent shape out of one and fit them together and frosted in red. Junior Mints made the dots and black toothpicks (colored with a sharpie!!) with gumdrops on top for the antennae and the creepy smile is done the same way, just pushed the toothpicks in all the way!! Enjoy.

Any more creepy, crawley, slimy cakes out there???????? Send 'em to me!

Snail cake and Fly cake

I would definitely categorize these cute cakes as "slithery and slimy". But HOW STINKIN' CUTE ARE THESE??? Seriously, it's hard to find cute, original fun cakes anymore! Everything's kind of a copy of a copy, if you know what I mean??!!

Thanks Stacy for letting me stalk you and track you down. These cakes are adorable!! There's many more where these came from....
