Candyland Cake

I have quite a few cakes in the wings....ready to post. But I just couldn't hold this one off any longer!!!! It really is creative, different and so awesome!!!

My cousin Melinda made this for her son Aaron's first birthday. It's a Candy land themed cake. She covered her cake in fondant and all of the decorations were made from gum paste. Such a great cake. Thanks Melinda.









She also made a "smash" cake for him to eat!! So fun!

FuN fLoWeR cAkE

This cute flower cake was sent to me by my friend Ashley! She made it for her daughter's first birthday!


Round cake frosted in pink and pink zingers. Mini chocolate chips in the center. She also said that her friend frosted it in yellow and used yellow zingers and regular chocolate chips and it looked like a sunflower!!! How darling. Thanks Ashley for the cute cake!!!

Flip Flop Cake

My sister made this cake for her daughters 1st birthday! Yay Zoe!!

This is the perfect summer birthday cake! You could do tons of different stuff with this to make it for a girl or a boy!

She made 2 9x13 cakes and made a pattern to cut the cakes out. Just frost in cute bright colors and she used twizzlers for the straps. I have also seen it done with fondant and it doesn't stay upright as well! I definitely like the twizzler idea! So....



Cute, right!?! Graham cracker crumbs for the sand (much better than my Golden Oreo's attempt at sand :) )

This cute teddy bear, first birthday cake was sent to me by my cute friend Amanda. She made this awesome cake for her son Alex's first birthday! Wow. Seriously. I don't attempt too much layering. Way to go Amanda. It's awesome!
